The Signs
Generally speaking, there are 12 signs of the Zodiac which can be divided into both masculine and feminine, positive and negative, nor active and passive. Namely the masculine signs are Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius, whereas the feminine signs are Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn and Pisces.

The Quaternaries
Quaternaries are three in number – this means that the 12 signs of the Zodiac are divided into three categories of four signs each. They are called the Cardinals, the Fixed and the Mutable signs.
The Cardinal signs
Reflecting each projects as the self onto the world in a different way. Depending which of the four elements it’s associated with.
As Cardinal Fire (Aries) is a catalyst, a firebrand that inspires others by being totally committed to his/her own vision. Cardinal Water (Cancer) leads by the heart, and casts a palpable emotional force that pushes into new territory, but does it sideways like the crab. Cardinal Air (Libra) initiates through new ideas, and by being a balancing force among people. Cardinal Earth (Capricorn) has a formidable, grounded presence, and a natural authority from being masters of the physical plane.
Born naturally as they are the instigators, they’re ready to forge ahead with plans, and attract those that can support their efforts. Cardinal signs are leaders, and tend to be outgoing because they’re engaged with the world in a dynamic way. They’re restless to start new projects, and happiest when running the show.
The Fixed signs
Namely: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
Fixed Signs are at the height of the four seasons. Fixed Signs are associated with stamina, perseverance and strength and said to be, by nature, inert. However, they are also associated with inflexiblity. Individuals born under these four Fixed Signs of the Zodiac are thought to be determined, powerful, natural leaders, purposeful, reliable, loyal and self-confident but also occasionally stubborn and immovable, with a tendency to get stuck in ruts. They supposedly pursue their goals with dogged persistence and have a great power of concentration. According to astrologers, Fixed Signs tend to direct their energies inward rather than outward.
And last the Mutable signs
They are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.
Mutable signs straddle two temperate zone seasons, encompassing an inherent duality in its symbolism. The mutable or bicorporal signs signify a duality of life experiences, and those individuals who are influenced by these signs are likely to have two main experiences, two main vocations, or two main loves that will strongly affect them for the totality of their existence.
Saturn Transit in Virgo and its Effects

Saturn, one of the most powerful planets of the zodiac, is a slow mover and its slow pace has earned the name “Sanischar” for the planet. It takes 29 Yrs 6 Months to revolve around the Sun. On an average it stays in one rashi for a period of 2 Yrs 6 Months. It is right now in Leo rashi and it will move into Virgo rashi.
The date of transit of Saturn from Leo rashi to Virgo rashi differs on account of different methods of calculation. According to Nirayana or Sidereal system of calculation (Lahiri Ayanamsa) Saturn will transit on 9th September 2009. Some other calculation systems have fixed the transit on 26th September 2009.
This transit of Saturn will start Sadhe Saati period for Libra and cause an end of Sadhe Saati for Cancer rashi. The last phase of Sadhe Saati for Leo will start and the second phase of Sadhe Saati for Virgo will also begin. The rashis that will have Dhaiya (Kantaka Shani) will be Gemini and Aquarius. The Dhaiya on Taurus and Capricorn will come to an end.
Saturn is generally considered as a Pap-Graha (malefic planet) its role has been analyzed in Uttara Kalamrita. It has been treated as a karaka of ill health, obstructions, disease, enmity, sorrow, death, old age, thefts, lameness etc. But, the role of Saturn as the administrator of divine justice is forgotten by many. This Graha helps the weak and the helpless and stands for common man. Well-placed Saturn can completely change the fortunes of an individual.
The effect of transit of Saturn from Leo rashi to Virgo rashi will affect the fortunes of all rashis. But, the effect will be dependent on many factors like the lordship of Saturn in the natal horoscope, placement of Saturn in natal horoscope and the running dasa in the horoscope. These are the main governing parameters for analyzing the effect of the transit of Saturn on different rashis.
The horoscope shows the planetary promise only. Transits deliver the promises of the horoscope. Transits will not deliver any result if there are no promises in the horoscope. This principle applies to Saturn as well. Even though the transits are good or bad, these may not bring good or bad results unless it is indicated in the horoscope.

Challenging T-square configuration
I have a powerful and challenging pattern, a T-square configuration, involving my Uranus/Mars in Virgo (1st house), which opposes my Saturn in Aquarius (7th house) and squares Mercury/Venus in Taurus (10th house).
The tension created by this configuration calls upon me to clarify and integrate my values and responsibilities with regard to: personal and professional relationships and obligations; identifying my career goals are and building and developing my career without compromising my artistic sensitivities; determining how much I am willing to do what is required to satisfy the status quo without losing my own freedom, independence and own values.
Intimate relationships are not always easy for me and are somewhat of a dilemma. While I love the continuity and familiarity afforded by a committed relationship, I also crave independence, which includes lots of time doing my own thing. Although I am romantic, I’m not sure I can be there emotionally for someone else on a day to day basis. The routine aspect just doesn’t do it for me. It concerns me that I am being too selfish in this regard. I most enjoy the friendship aspect of a close relationship, including the communication and sharing of ideas, ideals and what makes the heart sing.
Uranus/Mars/Pluto conjunction in Virgo in 1st/2nd houses. This mentally restless configuration explains the ‘quirky’ side of my nature, but also my originality. I sometimes have a really short attention span. Although I can get bored quickly, it’s also true to say that I am continuously scanning a multitude of ideas running across my radar screen.
My physical reflexes and mental capabilities are quick as lightning and I move with grace and agility in my physical body. I attract stress to me but I don’t do well with stress. When I’m stressed, I need to get my feet on the earth and do something physical to ground me.
I am interested in the psychology of things and understand the mechanics and technicality of just about anything. I like to know how things work.
I can be exacting, fastidious and obsessive with details at times. I travel between having very high expectations of others and no expectations at all. I can have a critical nature.
Pluto connects well with Capricorn Moon but challenges my Gemini Sun. This combination requires that I be willing to understand my own psychological processes and bring about transformation from facing and working through my emotional issues. I am also figuring out what I need to know about power, particularly in regards to my relationships with men.
Neptune in Scorpio (4th house) trines Chiron in Pisces (8th house). I am imaginative, intuitive and emotionally and psychically sensitive. I can feel the undercurrent energies of any place I spend time in so I need to have a safe haven, solitude and privacy. Being near the ocean has a healing effect upon me. I like the process of contemplation and reflection. I have said that I “channel” the characters that I play in movies. People think I am joking. I’m not sure that I am.
Neptune challenges my Leo Ascendant. This is where I can be excessive and compulsive and lose myself in whatever I am doing for it affords me the opportunity to escape.
The North Node in my chart is placed in the 12th house in the sign of Cancer. My powerful ambitions in my previous life brought my fame and fortune, which I worked very hard for. I learned a lot about power and control.
In this lifetime, I am learning about how to surrender to and accept the very ‘human’ part of my nature. I still have a tendency to see my emotional needs as weaknesses. I know that I must be willing to reach out to others and open up to true intimacy. Once I have done my own emotional work, allowing for healing to take place, I will know how to nurture others and really be there for them emotionally. This involves trust and a willingness to show interest in others, their lives and their dreams and hopes. I will know that I have imbibed the qualities associated with my North Node when I can truly feel what it is to walk in another’s shoes, show true compassion, love and nurturing.
I am also learning to open up to spiritual guidance and glean the wisdom that comes from aligning my life with the Divine. In the relationship with the Sacred, I am learning about the importance of surrender and Divine timing. I wish I could learn this without feeling so very vulnerable and without having to experience loss.

Addressing, responding to the continual unending stream of astrological misinformation is a task too mammoth to undertake. Publishing correct data is a much more realistic effort. The zodiac is the baseline of the three dimensional model of our cosmic sphere. The Zodiac or Ecliptic is the physical PATH or ORBIT of all the planets around the Sun in our cosmic sphere. Rather than being like a molecule with particles whirling about every which way all the planets orbit the sun in the same zodiacal ecliptic plane.

The horizon, equator, seasons and seasonal rotation affect only earth the Zodiac affects the entire Cosmic Sphere, SIDEREAL ASTROLOGY. Sidereal means measured by a star, physical reality. Rather than being a philosophical matter of opinion this is plain old-fashioned Physical Astronomical Reality. Regardless of how one attempts to rationalize any misconception of this matter the Sun will still Rise in the East in the morning because the Earth is Rotating on its axis and Revolving about the Sun in its Fixed Sidereal Zodiacal Ecliptical Orbit.

Of the most common astrologer errors is incomplete work also the accuracy of the event data. This is compounded by the fact that few astrologers even know what complete work is. The horoscope is a scientific document and must be done accurately with the correct documentation to prove the case. Many scenarios require identification and all manner of data, professional astrology requires complete and accurate I.D. and coordinates. The more complete and accurate the data the more complete and accurate the reading.

What happens is that when astrologers fail to use a complete file of horoscope charts for the event it results in mass wandering about psychic guessing. They wind up grasping at straws using the law of substitution trying to find symbology to explain the events that occur. Next thing you know they’re talking you how it is straws like the right ascension of the heliacal rising of the left handed moon node was EXACTLY paran trine the mundo midpoint between their Mars and Venus – (see, SEE it’s right there!!!). Ask them what the file looks like and it’s err, Uhh, DA. Things like demi-solars, quarter year solars and on and on are just not needed when using a complete file. When using a properly prepared complete horoscope file the repeated patterns that emerge throughout the file are just too obvious to miss.

Unless ones research is also displayed in the correctly produced full file format baseline there is no way to check what actually happened, to judge what is really going on in the case at hand and therefore verify the validity of the research and what realistic relationship the application of the data has. Again this file begins with ACCURATE event times and longitude and latitude coordinates.

Empirical research is setting up COMPLETE FILES for thousands of cases in an absolute proof ground of being such as money, births, deaths, accidents to test each of the theories. Sally Sue will say “oh I wasn’t depressed last Tuesday” Armchair theorizing is one thing however one can not kid ones self about the money, either you have the money or they have the money.

I remember Bob Seger’s hit “Night Moves”. It was 1979 and I was 30 and single and it seemed to make us “older” people laugh. The lyrics about teenagers and all. But this song made Seger an international star, and he seemed to strike tones and intonations that appealed to the bulk of the pop/rock audience. There are plenty of songs about sex and love and breaking up and getting together, but his chord patterns, and his minor keys and his gravely voice talking about the quest for love-making spots, and the attitudes of the love-makers and the almost fanciful and whimsical ways of humans on the prowl, made this song haunting. Yes, haunting. Because of all of those things it is one of my favorites, and Seger himself is one of my favorites.
The subtitle is one of the lyrics in Seger’s song that goes to the point of this article – “Working On Mysteries Without Any Clues”. Ah, yes. The reason love making is so darned dramatic and crazy and off the wall and full of — “Oh no, and oh my gawwwd” — is because most of the time, when human kind is on the prowl, he/she does not have a clue! You can say that not having a clue is kind of the fun of it, the danger of it, the disappointment of it, the dumbness of it, and the ecstasy of it. You can say that, SURE. But wouldn’t you like to have more of a clue? Wouldn’t you?
Having A Clue – When Sun Signs Come At You Like Fireworks In The Night
Movies have taken, of late, to show impassioned couples bursting into a closet and tearing each others’ clothes off. I think this is for both genders. It says: “Once you both know what you are both aiming for, its like dynamite.” But you know what? Its more intriguing and awkward and befuddling than the movies make it. Your experience itself, and our collective unconscious experience is this: Even though it’s on our mind at least a couple times a day, sometimes its harder than catching a flea between your fingers and more “headachey” than a tequila hangover, to actually connect to the person you are trying to connect to. A brief walk through the outlook and nature of the sun signs might give us more of a clue than we currently have. They do come at you like fireworks in the night, and it behooves one who is on the prowl to have some night moves planned out.
The Signs of the Zodiac – “What’s Your Sign?”
Parties were not rife with sun sign madness in the 50’s, or even the 60’s, but boy did it hit in the 70’s. It was kind of the opening question which started conversations, and let people talk about themselves, and guess each others signs and as the unstated agenda might read — to see if we could be sexually compatible. But people were not learned. They only had their internal likes and dislikes and statements from friends, which they picked up here and there. Let’s take a serious short look at the sun signs and what might help you with your “night moves”.
Pisces
The 12th sign has many complexities. This can make them difficult to understand. They will say contradictory and mysterious things. Don’t listen to their words as much as look in their eyes. A Piscean’s eyes are watery often, and they can look like they like you. Don’t mistake their general care for humanity as a particular liking for you. They appear to be “easy”, and they are more emotionally pliable, but this can make your night moves too strong. Get where the Pisces lives. Don’t be a player. They won’t bite your head off for looking like a player. They will try to see your soul, and understand why you are so desperately insincere acting. Aquarius

You pinch yourself. You wonder where you went. You are still there. Just not for the Aquarius. There is so much more to the Aquarius than just the socializing. And they will tell you that. Approach if you wish, and enjoy this ingenious and perplexing character. You night moves might just work, but their may not be any “day moves” for the relationship. You will have to get to really know them to love them, your night move might be to be as certain about everything as they are. This could be fun all by itself.
Capricorn
If you are dealing with a Cappy, you must know that since they are so serious about everything, they are going to be serious about fun. Not dour, not dull, not stern, not boring – hardly. But they are going to be serious about it. Cappy frivolousness is planned frivolity. Cappy flirt is calculated flirt. Cappy foreplay is “five play”. Cappy is on their mountainous ascent and sexuality and romance are a part, a very necessary part of life, so get ready for this inner agenda. If you are being seduced, you are being seduced with a plan. You can come at them merrily with a “drunk on” and get slapped across the room or find yourself in an embrace. Sagittarius
Probably the easiest in the zodiac to conjure up the image of “player”. Yet. They are religious. They are extroverted. Sag is the horse looking over the fence and across the plain and up the trail. Are you right next to them, or the one across the plain? Inconstancy is a tricky word, but it kind of fits. Reading their mind as a part of the move might be difficult. What’s on their mind is generally discovered by them as the words flow out of their mouths. So, night move rule number one is not to think you have the secret to Sagittarius. Ride easy in the saddle as it were. Decide if you find them pleasing. Scorpio
There are more warning signs on the highway of love about Scorp than any other. Largely those warning signs were put there by disappointed lovers who had expectations. Scorpio is much easier to know if you don’t wait for their “tell tale signs” or have any expectations at all. Let them tell you who they are in their many ways. Their body language, their conversation, their sincerity or lack of it. Let them tell you. The longer a Scorpio talks, the more they reveal. Do not think its fast. Do not play dominance/passive games. Do not try to overwhelm. They will not be “whelmed” over or under. They will take you like they see you. If they take you, it will be a sincere act. Yes, you will see intensity at every turn. So enjoy it. They will. The warning is after the event. The Scorpio will introduce themselves slowly. Time to learn to love.
Libra
